Strathmore Educational Trust, Registered Trustees (SERT) is a charitable trust engaged in various social projects in Kenya. To this end, the trust has started a number of initiatives in the country.
These initiatives are: Strathmore School, a primary and secondary school in Lavington, Nairobi; Strathmore University, a fully-fledged university in Madaraka, Nairobi; Eastlands College of Technology, a technical training institute in Eastlands, Nairobi; and Mbagathi Study Centre, a centre of formation for university students.
The entities run independently of the trust and of one another. The trust comprises five trustees supported by an Administration Office. The trustees serve in the respective boards of the trust’s key educational initiatives.
